Dear Friend
Welcome to the Indie Shaman Course in Shamanism. This course is aimed at providing guidance to those who feel they have the aptitude to work as a Shaman working with others. It provides tools and methods to develop your skills designed to suit from ‘beginners’ right through to Soul Retrieval. Please note however that becoming a Shaman is a very long process and ultimately requires work with your Otherworldly guides. When you first read the course exercises they may appear deceptively simple. There is much more to them though than an initial read may lead you to think as you will soon discover when you start on your course journey. To complete the course successfully, as well as the inclination or instinct, you must be willing to: reflect on each journey; explore what you see; be prepared to go deeper in response to questions asked by others; explore your own feelings; ask questions yourself and of yourself.
The Indie Shaman online Course in Shamanism consists of 6 exercises with full tutor support run on a private, member’s only section of the Indie Shaman Forum. You will be given your own confidential private course work folder on the board. A certificate is awarded on completion, which has been accepted by many Insurance Companies as proof of competency for Shamanic work.

Shamanic development work involves personal development alongside spiritual development work. Therefore everything that is discussed in and during an Indie Shaman course is confidential. Please do not discuss anything you read in the course sections of the forum with anyone else outside of the Indie Shaman course. Please note that information disclosed in support to staff tutors may be discussed within the staff team with the best interest of supporting the staff member and the person being supported.
By default everything anyone says on the Indie Shaman forum will be copyright to Indie Shaman unless you state you personally copyright it. That is not because we want your words, as we would never use them without your permission, but so no-one else can use them if you forget to copyright them and also to retain your confidentiality.
This course was given to June over the course of several Journeys by her guide, Connor. As an Indie Shaman course member if at any point during your own Journeys, whether within this course or elsewhere, you feel you need a little spiritual support but do not yet have a Guide or fully communicate with your Ancestors and/or Guides, do feel free to call for Connor.
