2. Data Protection Information
2.1 Indie Shaman only retains personal information necessary for our accounts and records in ensuring we deliver goods or services to our customers.
2.2 Indie Shaman does not and would not pass on personal customer information such as contact details, products and services purchased, or any other form of information regarding any customer or service user to any third party except:
2.2.1 where necessary to produce our accounts (e.g. to an accountant or auditor);
2.2.2 if instructed to do so by a court of law or other legal authority where to do otherwise would mean we were not complying with legislation and or law;
2.2.3 if ownership of the company or website were to be transferred in which case any company or individual taking over the company would have to comply with this Privacy Policy;
2.3.3. We do not keep any information about any customer once we have finished providing a service to that customer and we have finished producing company accounts and records unless otherwise specified in the terms of providing that service.
3. Indie Shaman Newsletter
We do collect your e-mail address when you register for the Forum or join the Indie Shaman Community as a Member to send you our email Newsletter so we can send you information of competitions, special offers and other news we think may interest you. If you wish to stop receiving our newsletter, you can do so at any time by clicking the ‘Stop' button on this page or by the link in the Newsletter.
4. Forum
4.1 We collect your e-mail address if you register as a participant in our forums in order to let you know that your registration has been successful.
4.2 If you complete the profile facility in our forums, it will be viewable by other users.
4.3 Our Forum has a few public sections (members of the public can see what you have posted), a larger private section (only forum members can see what you post) and an Indie Shaman Community Members section (only Indie Shaman members can post or see what is posted). The public sections are stated in the title description of that section.
4.3 We may record and use particular communications that are posted in connection with any investigation of any possible misuse of the forums or any other communication systems that we operate.
5. IP addresses and Cookies
5.1 When you use our chat forum, the Forum logs the IP addresses of users' computers which we then use solely for administration and trouble shooting purposes.
5.2 The forum also uses cookies (files which are sent by us to your computer or other access device) as part of the software needed to let you stay logged in if you wish. You need to be logged in to post or reply to messages.
5.3 Please refer to the instructions for your computer or other device software if you want to delete any cookies that are already on your computer or stop cookies being stored on your computer in future. Please note that by deleting our cookies or disabling future cookies you may not be able to post messages in our forum.

Our site contains links to third party websites that are not subject to this privacy policy. We strongly recommend that you read the privacy policy of any websites that you visit.

We use all reasonable precautions to keep the information disclosed to us secure. However, we cannot guarantee the security of the information that you disclose to us. You accept the inherent risks of providing information and dealing on-line and will not hold us responsible for any breach of security unless this is due to our negligence or wilful default.

We may make changes to these Terms at any time. We will let you know what these changes are by posting them to this page. However it is your responsibility as a service user to check for any changes on a regular basis. Changes will become effective as soon as they are posted. If you continue to use our site after the posting of changes to these Terms, it means that you accept any such changes.
This policy is effective from 1 October and replaces with immediate effect any previous policy.
