The Wild Edges’ sacred gatherings mark the turning of the Wheel of the Year and we meet in a spirit of gratitude, community and connection, to share wisdom, participate in ceremony, shamanic drumming and journeying to honour and work with the energies of the seasons and the elements for healing, cleansing, guidance and wisdom.
In the sacred space we create for each gathering, we follow in the footsteps of our ancestors and we:

YORKSHIRE
Eagle Owl Drum Circle in Doncaster. Sitting around a large Mother Drum using drum beaters, we sing Native American songs and a variety of other medicine songs from different cultures. No experience is needed as we will teach you the drumming and the songs. We believe everyone can sing as every song is a prayer.
Originally, we were the drum crew for Dance to Heal the Earth (South Africa), which is an international Sun Dance envisioned by Grandmother Robin Youngblood, held around the world once a year. We have yet to bring this Dance to the UK so we hope the UK crew will enjoy singing and drumming for now! There is no obligation to join the Dance crew, some drummers prefer to just join the practices.
If you have your own shamanic hand drum, you are welcome to bring it. Drum beaters are provided for the Mother Drum. We meet twice a month for 2 hours on a Saturday or Sunday. This evening includes sacred drumming, shamanic medicine wheel, journeying, and ceremonial drumming. To gather in sacred space together, we access rhythm, harmony, creativity which is a metaphor for fostering compassion, union, and a secure liveable planet for us all.
