2.1 Indie Shaman only retains personal information necessary for our accounts and records in ensuring we deliver goods or services to our customers. We have to hold the details of the people who have requested the service in order to provide it. However, we only use these details to provide the service the person has requested and for other closely related purposes. When people do subscribe to our services, they can cancel their subscription at any time and are given an easy way of doing this.
2.2 Indie Shaman does not and would not pass on personal customer information such as contact details, products and services purchased, or any other form of information regarding any customer or service user to any third party except:
2.2.1 where necessary to produce our accounts (e.g. to an accountant or auditor);
2.2.2 if instructed to do so by a court of law or other legal authority where to do otherwise would mean we were not complying with legislation and or law;
2.2.3 if ownership of the organisation or any part of it were to be transferred in which case any company or individual taking over the company would have to comply with this Privacy Policy;
2.3. We do not keep any information about any customer once we have finished providing a service to that customer and we have finished producing accounts and records unless otherwise specified or instructed by legislation.
3. Indie Shaman Newsletter
We do collect your e-mail address when you subscribe to Indie Shaman magazine or otherwise ask or agree to subscribe for our email Newsletter. This is in order to provide the stated benefits of a subscription. When you first give us your email address we will check again with you if it is OK to send you our newsletter. You can also stop receiving our newsletter at any time by emailing us or by simply replying ‘unsubscribe’ to a Newsletter.
5. Links
Our site contains links to third party websites that are not subject to this privacy policy. We strongly recommend that you read the privacy policy of any websites that you visit.
6. Security Policy
We use all reasonable precautions to keep the information disclosed to us secure. However, we cannot guarantee the security of the information that you disclose to us. You accept the inherent risks of providing information and dealing on-line and will not hold us responsible for any breach of security unless this is due to our negligence or wilful default.
